ANS1: No. We do not deal in quail and
we are not involved in hunting in any way. "QUAIL" is
an acronym for "Quebec Association for Independent Living"
or "Association Quebecoise De Logement Integre."
ANS2: Yes you can. On-line donations
are a new feature on our web site. Through the CanadaHelps.org portal
secure donations can be made to QUAIL. Canada Helps will issue your
charitable receipt and pass along 95.1% of your donation to QUAIL.

ANS3: We work with Pavillon du Parc
to select our residents. Approval for residents typically occurs
in the following way. A client is proposed to Pavillon du Parc by
a health and social services centre (CSSS ) or an internal body
of Pavillon. The client is then approved by the regional access
section of Pavillon, which then places the client in the appropriate
care facility. When a request for placement reaches the QUAIL Board,
two considerations are paramount. First, the Board ensures that
there is a match with those already resident at QUAIL House and
second, they ensure the level of care and quality of living for
all residents can be maintained. A trial period is usually recommended
to ensure compatibility.

ANS5: Our jams are sold at the Wakefield
Market, the Vorlage Craft Fair, at numerous community events in
the Gatineau Hills and at many of our events. The Wakefield Farmer's
Market Runs Saturday mornings, May 29 - Thanksgiving. It is located
